Premier Division newcomers Thrapston picked up their first top flight point thanks to a Jamie Russell leveller from the penalty spot twelve minutes from time following a LewisStone foul on Matt Harris.
The Cuckoos had taken the lead after twenty minutes with young midfielder Ollie Montique the marksman to round off good work by Dan Fountain and Andy Lodge.
